Kayaking Experience in West Sussex This fun course teaches kayaking techniques; safety skills, equipment use and water confidence. It's for anyone wishing to try kayaking first time or who've not kayaked for a while. Experienced instructors will show you how to use the kayaking equipment as well as safety tips (just in case you capsize!) before taking you out on the water and teaching you some key kayaking skills and techniques. This experience is the ideal way to learn about this fantastic sport, and you'll also play a few watery games! Locations: West Sussex (South East) Agenda: Arrive at the venue at the appointed time and be greeted by your friendly and highly experienced instructor. During the experience you will cover the following: * Safety awareness * Equipment selection * Kayaking techniques * Capsize techniques * Games This is a fun half day session that lasts around 3 hours. Notes: Your voucher is valid for ten months for one person. You are free to contact the supplier to make your booking using the details provided. The season runs from March to October and all dates are subject to availability. No previous experience is necessary, but you should be able to swim and be in reasonably fit condition. All kayaking and safety equipment is supplied. Suitable clothing for the time of year should be worn. A complete change of clothes or a wetsuit with appropriate footwear is also needed. You will be provided with a kit list. Please bring a packed Lunch (and plenty of water), as there are no shops near the venue. Maximum group size is 12 and minimum is 6 people. Minimum age is 18 years.
