Half Day RIB Experience in Hampshire Enjoy the thrill of the Solent for half a day, as you zoom across the waves in the latest RIB-craft with an expert skipper at the helm. As well as heart-pounding, wave-jumping thrills, you'll also receive a fascinating historical tour of Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent based forts. Then it's off to the world famous yachting haven of Cowes for refreshments before getting back to the action, jumping the car ferry wakes and carrying out high speed manoeuvres as you blast off across the Solent for home! Locations: Hampshire (South West) Agenda: Arrive at the wharf at the appointed hour in the morning for a safety briefing and overview of the day's itinerary. Then hop aboard the RIB and depart from the wharf for a historic harbour tour, followed by a blast around the Solent's many forts (Palmerstons Follies). A refreshing lunch in Cowes follows, and then it's time for some awesome wave surfing on the way home. You'll return to the wharf in the early afternoon allow around 3. Notes: Your voucher is valid for ten months for one person. You are free to contact the supplier to make your booking using the details provided. Minimum age 10 years; under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please inform the supplier of any relevant medical conditions upon booking. Not suitable for anyone with heart problems, serious back/neck conditions, people in wheelchairs or pregnant women. If you are asthmatic you must bring your inhaler. If concerned about seasickness you should take seasickness tablets 2 hours before the ride. Boats are fully insured and fitted with the latest safety equipment. Life jackets are worn at all times on the boat. Bad weather gear is available. No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be permitted. This experience runs on Saturdays and Sundays from April to October, subject to availability.
