This natural latex cot mattress is hypoallergenic and offers superb support. It is handmade in Devon at Naturalmat's own factory, using only the finest natural fibres. Completely natural, these mattresses are breathable and naturally fire retardant. Hand made to order, they provide unrivaled comfort with tests showing 100% of mums saying their baby slept better on a natural mattress than a conventional one!
Ideal for dust mite allergy sufferers, the core of the mattress is made from natural latex which is tapped straight from the rubber tree - which dust mites can't live in. It forms a springy core and is sandwiched between layers of organic coir for extra support and breathability. This is then wrapped in soft anti-dust mite lambs wool, which acts as an excellent thermal insulator.

The mattress cover is made from 100% unbleached cotton herringbone ticking which can be removed and machine washed at 60 degrees to remove all bacteria.
The Latex Mat is naturally fire retardant and passes the British safety standards (BS EN597, BS 7177) without the use of any harmful chemicals.
