Work Shoes
Choosing shoes for work can be a little tricky because there are many factors to consider. Work shoes need to be comfortable because you will be wearing them all day, working hard, and in a lot of cases on your feet all day. But work shoes can’t be too comfortable because they need to look professional and tidy especially if working in an office environment. A great tip to take into consideration is to always wear black shoes. The colour black always looks professional and so you can maybe go for a more comfortable design but in black they will keep their work look. Here is a look at some of the different types of work shoes to consider.
Heeled Shoes – heels are a popular choice amongst women. Wearing heels for work can be a bit of a killer on the legs and the feet and so try and go for low level heels and thick heels as well rather than stilettos. Heeled shoes go well with skirts and trousers and again go for a black colour or grey to keep it looking professional.
Boots – wearing boots for work is a great option because usually they are a lot more comfortable than regular heeled shoes. Boots have more support to them because of the extra material and they are warmer which is great during the winter months. Boots are just as professional as heels are but they are a lot easier to wear, plus they look great with trousers, skirts and dresses.
Flat Shoes – if your line of work entails you are on your feet for hours on end then flat shoes is definitely the option for you. Heeled shoes no matter how low they are can be uncomfortable on your feet, legs and your back. Wearing cushioned flat shoes will be a lot easier to wear and will be a lot nicer to your body. Flat shoes are perhaps not as ‘work’ looking as heeled shoes but you can certainly get away with it if you choose a proper style and colour.
