Men’s shoes - Trainers

Have you ever bought a pair of trainers? Of course you have, everyone has at one point in their lives.
You would think that buying a pair of Trainers would be easy, go on line, choose the brand you like, click on the size and hey presto, or you pay a visit to your local shoe shop, but that’s not necessarily the case as many of us are finding out. When you set off on this adventure, and it is an adventure you find that there are so many different types of Trainers to choose from.

It seems that there are trainers for most activities in life. For example there are even trainers that are classed as Casual men’s shoes, they look like shoes but under closer scrutiny they are truly trainers.

Not many years ago trainers were shoes you bought for exercising, going to the gym, playing five a side, jogging. As time went on trainers were worn more and more during the day to the extent that sports centres had notices up saying that only clean trainers not worn outside could be used in the centres.
You bought one pair of trainers to wear for all sporting activities, today it is the norm for you to buy specific trainers for a specific activity, including leisure.

If you take running for instance, you used to buy running shoes and they had spikes in the sole so you had grip on the track, these shoes today would be considered specialist running shoes. Normal running shoes are really trainers and there are a number of different trainers for how serious your running regime is, for example  there are trainers for the Casual runner, for the more serious runner that runs two or three times a week and yet another type for the serious runner who runs every day. There are also trainers / running shoes for the terrain you most commonly run on, road or grass.

You can’t buy a pair of these trainers for running and use the same pair for a game of five a side, if you have already tried to you probably went out next day and bought a pair of football trainers and you probably bought a specific pair for playing on the surface that you normally play on.
