Faith is a very successful UK shoe store; it was first created in 1964 by a couple named Samuel and Kerry Faith. Samuel was an accountant to begin with and then tried his hand at owning a shoe store and it turned out rather well. After Samuel retired the family business was passed on to his son Jonathan Faith. The brand has over 60 branches across the UK and additional concessions in Debenhams, Sunwin House, and Allders. In 2004 Faith Shoes was bought for £65 million by private equity group Bridgepoint Capital.
