What shoes to wear with a blue three piece pinstripe suit

You are all dressed up in a blue three piece pinstripe suit all you need now is a pair of shoes to finish off the look, and there lies the dilemma, of all the shoes and Boots at ones disposal which shoes will go and which don’t. Here are a few choices you could make that would make you stand out from the crowd in a good way.

One choice could be a pair of brown hand made calf leather Chelsea boot. These Boots will stand out and set the pinstripe off a treat. Make sure they are pull on Boots not lace ups. Wear them with a bright pair of long orange or red socks.

Another choice would be a pair of brown leather modern Penny loafer shoes. Get a pair with an antique finish, square toe and some nice stitching. Wear a pair of dark socks with these as they’ll be visible even while standing.

Staying with brown you could go for a really good pair of dark brown Oxford Brogues. These shoes actually originated from Scotland and the word brogues means shoes. Make sure they are a full Brogue Oxford; you can tell a full brogue as the toe cap will be in the shape of a wing decorated with punched holes and serrated edges, the inner toe will also have a punched pattern. The side and heel of the shoes will also be decorated with punched and serrated leather.

For our next choice we come back to boots. A pair of creased, crushed black leather Boots with lace ups will show you off as an outgoing, fearless and totally independent type of guy.

All the above shoes and boots will look great with a dark blue, three piece pinstripe suit.

Finally you will have to decide who and where to buy your shoes from. Part of that decision will depend on the budget you have available. The general consensus on cost is to buy the best pair of shoes or boots you can afford. The better the quality of shoes or boots in terms of leather and workmanship means they will tend to stand the test of time, be the comfiest but cost the most. Therefore find the shoes you like and get the best deal you can. This therefore leads on to where to buy your shoes? You have two choices, the high street or the internet. The high street takes time visiting all the shops, will probably cost you more because of the service they provide and the overheads they incur but you will be able to take your shoes away with you straight away. The internet allows you to shop around for the best deal and view many more shoe shops than would be possible on the high street, but you have to wait for the shoes to be delivered.
