Cruz enters the already crowded browser scene with some
promising features. Among them is built-in Greasemonkey scripting, an
open plug-in architecture platform, built-in TinyURL support and the
ability to break up your window however you like it. The webkit-based
browser may not convert Safari or Firefox users, but it may just
inject some fresh new ideas into the browser space.
It seems Gmail's best extensible features are in its "Labs" section, a place Google uses as an incubator for new features. Now, Labs is spreading to other Google properties as well. Google Apps, the enterprise e-mail, calendar and domain space solution added its own Labs section with a few new intranet-specific services previously unavailable.
